Membrane contactor
Equipment fitted with a membrane contactor: this is a dense, hydrophobic membrane with microporous hollow fibres. It does not involve filtration (transfer only in 1 direction) but a gas/liquid exchange (transfer in 2 directions) via a pressure differential generated by a vacuum pump.
A liquid (the product to be treated) flows along the wall. A gas (CO2) is supplied at the membrane inlet and a vacuum is applied (via a vacuum pump) at the other end of the membrane.
Flexibility
The system offers unrivalled flexibility for the production of your beverages, whether still or sparkling. You can work from tank to tank, or position the device in line at the tangential filter outlet, or upstream of an existing bottling line, either as an independent unit or as part of a final filtration pallet.
For gasification, the system boasts gas consumption three times lower than traditional methods, while guaranteeing fine, regular bubbles.
Efficiency
The technology used optimises treatment time by integrating CO2 and O2 in a single step. Thanks to the patented system, dosing is precise, unaffected by inlet flow fluctuations, guaranteeing greater repeatability of treatment and the quality of your products.
Automation and total traceability
This system is fully automatic, guaranteeing complete safety at every stage of processing. Thanks to the integrated CIP, cleaning is optimised and simplified. What’s more, traceability is ensured via an on-board web server, providing precise, real-time monitoring of all operations.
